What is Psychotherapy & Behavioral Health Treatment?
Psychotherapy provides a unique space where you can feel fully accepted while freely exploring your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and challenges. It’s a process that helps you better understand yourself and move toward living in alignment with your deepest values and goals. As a therapist, I see my role as walking alongside you—offering professional support and evidenced-based skills, providing a safe place to express your truth, and fostering hope for healing and growth.
In our sessions, we will work together to expand compassionate self-awareness and effective behaviors in you, which can lead to a greater sense of meaning, reduced mental and emotional distress, and more successful ways of handling life’s challenges. My approach is client-centered, meaning therapy is tailored to your personal needs and goals, aiming to balance acceptance of what’s beyond your control with strategies to change what you can.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from San Jose State University. I have experience supporting individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety and panic, depression, trauma, personality disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), substance use disorders, oppositional and impulse control disorders, bipolar and mood disorders, grief and loss, illness and end of life, domestic violence, LGBTQIA+ related challenges, and navigation of complex social needs. My training includes evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Strengths Model, and Motivational Interviewing. Beyond traditional therapy, I have also worked with unhoused individuals, harm reduction programs, and in medical settings.
I am especially passionate about helping people with stress and anxiety management, improving relationships and communication, emotional awareness, and aligning behavior with personal values.
I welcome anyone seeking support, whether you're navigating everyday challenges or experiencing more complex mental health concerns. I currently work with adults and teens (14+), with the possibility of family sessions for parents with younger children. Sessions are 50-minutes long and can take place in my office in Mammoth Lakes or online via Zoom. I also work at Mono County Behavioral Health, where I serve individuals of all ages with active Medi-Cal insurance.

I operate as an out-of-network provider, meaning I do not bill insurance companies directly. This approach allows for greater flexibility in treatment without the constraints or potential denials associated with insurance. However, I can provide a superbill (detailed invoice) upon request, which you may be able to submit to your insurance provider for partial or full reimbursement, depending on your specific plan.
Cancelation Policy:
If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, you'll be charged 50% of the session cost. No-shows will be charged the full amount.
